 Mancraft HPA Pressure Regulator HRR

 Mancraft HPA Pressure Regulator HRR

Mancraft airsoft pressure regulator is ergonomic and lightweight. Its build ensures maximum mobility on the field, and the various fitting options offer versatility for different airsoft gun configurations.

The pressure regulation range of 4-17 bar (60-250 psi) allows for precise adjustments to the power and velocity of your airsoft gun. That gives you the competitive edge you need to dominate the field and always stay just below site’s limits to enjoy maximum possible range of your rifle.

Size: Diameter 25mm, Length 75mm

Mancraft HRR – High Refresh Rate Airsoft Regulator

Mancraft HRR, short for Mancraft High Refresh Rate, is the leading choice for professional speedsoft games and competitive airsoft players globally. It’s the first-generation regulator designed for high ROF HPA rifles. The ergonomic size makes daily operation easy, thanks to a specially designed base for improved grip when attaching or detaching the HPA tank. Its larger build ensures a user-friendly design, allowing for easy maintenance with convenient access to internal parts.

How Airsoft Pressure Regulator is Built:

Most, if not all, airsoft pressure regulators follow a similar design principle based on a straightforward concept—maintaining balance between two sides of the piston. The objective is to apply additional force on one side of the piston, causing a rise in pressure to equalize it on the opposite side. This is why a robust spring is a common component in the core of all regulators. By compressing it, you increase the pressure, attempting to offset this force. Through the utilization of a strong spring, a flat face-to-face seal, and aerodynamic channels, we’ve achieved an exceptionally rapid refresh rate. Each pressure change (or shot) induces micro movements in the piston, promptly replenishing the HPA engine with compressed gas.

How to change spring in the Mancraft pressure regulator:

Each Mancraft regulator comes with the set of two springs – black low pressure and silver high pressure. The low pressure spring allows to reach pressure way below 100psi which might help to stay within limits with your SDiK sniper rifle.

PDiK over fps limits on minimal pressure, should I change to low pressure spring?

Take note that a low-pressure spring is suitable exclusively for SDiK engines. That’s because PDiK engines demand a pressure of 100psi or higher for optimal functionality. So using a low-pressure spring on a PDiK engine may extend the self-reloading cycles. Which consequently reducing the rifle’s Rate of Fire (ROF). If you need to further decrease the fps of your PDiK rifle, especially if it’s already operating below 100psi, consider installing a volume reducerinstead. Since the power output of your rifle is tied to both pressure and air volume, reducing the air volume inside the engine allows you to increase the pressure without rising the power. Aim for reaching 120psi at given fps/Joules limit for optimal performance of your Mancraft engine.

Mancraft HRR vs Mancraft MMR Pressure Regulators

HRR regulators are more dust and weather resistant. They are larger and much easier to unscrew from the tank. The pressure regulation is somewhat harder than on the MMR regulator as it require Allen key.

MMR regulators are much more compact and lighter. Pressure regulation mechanism is more durable and it’s easier to change the pressure. As there is smaller surface to grab, they are harder to unscrew from the HPA tank.

How to prevent seizing pressure regulators on the HPA Tanks?

Ensuring a smooth unscrewing process for airsoft pressure regulators from HPA tanks is essential to preserve thread integrity and prevent potential damage. Follow these practical tips to facilitate the unscrewing:

  1. Lubricate Threads:
    – Apply a thin layer of anti-seize copper grease to both the regulator and HPA tank threads. This minimizes friction, ensuring easy unscrewing.
  2. O-Ring Lubrication:
    – Keep the O-ring seal on the HPA tank and the corresponding surface on the pressure regulator well-lubricated with silicone grease. This reduces resistance for a smooth rotation.
  3. Dry-Shooting Technique:
    – Utilize a continuous dry-shooting motion while unscrewing the regulator. This rhythmic action helps gradually loosen any tightness, making the unscrewing process more manageable.
  4. WD-40 Application (if necessary):
    – In challenging situations, if the regulator seems stuck, consider applying WD-40 to the locked threads. Allow a few minutes for it to work on seized parts, and then thoroughly clean the threads, as WD-40 can wear down O-ring seals over time.

Incorporating these practices enhances the ease of unscrewing airsoft pressure regulators, contributing to the longevity of tank and regulator threads. These preventive measures also support the overall maintenance and optimal performance of your airsoft equipment.
